The role
As a Driver/Valeter you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We wish to appoint a Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur to deliver and collect passengers and freight to and from various destinations UK wide.
Day to day, you'll undertake driving duties such as: Delivery of Freight, Chauffeur Tasks and other General Driving tasks as detailed, as well as:
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wyton.
Essential experience of the Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur:
Qualifications for the Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.

The role
As a Driver/Valeter you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We wish to appoint a Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur to deliver and collect passengers and freight to and from various destinations UK wide.
Day to day, you'll undertake driving duties such as: Delivery of Freight, Chauffeur Tasks and other General Driving tasks as detailed, as well as:
- Correct observation of all EU Drivers Hours Regulations (EU Regulation 561)
- Check and report on all defects on all Fleet Vehicles
- Correct completion and use of Tachographs as required.
- Carry out Daily Inspections, vehicle Valeting tasks and day to day husbandry of the Transport Section
- You will be responsible for reporting all accidents, injuries, near-miss and dangerous occurrences promptly to Line Management
- Carry out any reasonable request with your capability as directed by your Line Manager
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wyton.
Essential experience of the Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels - Verbal and written.
- Good organisational skills
- Can work on his/her own initiative.
- Safe and considerate driving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good knowledge of the UK - especially main airports
Qualifications for the Driver / Valeter - Chauffeur:
- Cat D Licence
- Driver CPC - Certificate of Professional Competency
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
