Up to £600/day outside IR35
Fortnightly travel – opportunities in London, Manchester & Gloucester

iO Associates have partnered with a leading consultancy to find a Commercial Manager to help deliver commercial and procurement solutions into their Government & Defence clients.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience on complex programmes and excellent knowledge of the secure government landscape. 

You will have previous experience managing large & complex contracts, and be comfortable taking responsibility for a range of relevant procurement activities. 

You will bring expert Commercial, Supply Chain & Procurement knowledge to the organisation and add key insights to support contract delivery.

Skills required:
•    Detailed knowledge of supply chain & contract management, including major subcontracts and transactional contracts
•    Take responsibility for a range of procurement related activities in line with the organisations policies, business requirements and performance objectives
•    Experience consulting within defence and/or government
•    Knowledge of the project lifecycle within the public sector
•    Ability to create and develop procurement processes that aid effective delivery, and be comfortable bringing new ideas to the table
•    Creation of relevant documentation in line with business requirements
•    Use appropriate techniques and processes to ensure business value delivery
•    Ability to identify and solve complex problems across multiple stakeholder groups.
•    IT proficiency
•    Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills
