As part of our Engineering, Technical and Specialist Capability team within our Specialist Services Capability, the Process Engineer plays a key role within the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.

We are looking for people who are collaborative and can bring their processing experience across a range of projects within the organisation. Growing as a business, we have a broad range of diverse and interesting projects stretched across all of UK and Scotland, so location isn't an issue. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team approach, this an extremely exciting time to join.

Role Responsibilities: 1. Working in accordance with the Being Cavendish Nuclear Principles.
2. Ensuring that, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
3. Producing calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design base documentation and technical reports.
4. Supervising designers in the production of drawings and engineering models.
5. Producing technical specifications, providing technical support throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning phases of the project to ensure that the Design Intent is maintained.
6. Carrying out design risk assessments.
7. Reviewing design changes.
8. Assessing concessions and technical queries.
9. Raising design quality plans for single discipline work packages.
10. Preparing designs for hazard identification and HAZOP studies.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Essential:
• Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience
• Demonstrable experience in managing teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types
• Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines
Desirable:
  • Member of relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience and capable of registration with the Engineering Council
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Experience in managing engineering scope for Projects from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
  • Breadth and depth of experience in a range of commercial or defence projects

MINIMUM LEVEL OF QUALIFICATIONS TO BE VERIFIED
Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Cavendish Nuclear is an international services company and travel may be required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role
